Stripe Integration Guide

Set up Stripe as a payment gateway on your Shopify store through the UnumPay app. Follow these steps to start accepting debit and credit card payments in minutes.

Install the UnumPay App

Open the Shopify App Store and install the UnumPay app. Select the Shopify store where you want to activate Stripe as a payment method.

Select Your Shopify Store

If you manage multiple stores, select the Shopify store where you want to enable Stripe payments through UnumPay. You will be redirected to your store's admin panel.

Open the App in Shopify Admin

After installation navigate to the UnumPay app directly or find it manually through Shopify Admin settings.

Replace {shopify-admin-domain} with your actual store domain e.g. yourstore.myshopify.com

Configure Stripe Credentials

In the UnumPay app left menu select Payment Service Providers. Find Stripe in the list and fill in the configuration fields.

Save Your Configuration

After filling in all the fields, click "Save" to store your Stripe credentials. You will be redirected to the confirmation screen.

Activate UnumPay

Click "Activate UnumPay" to enable the payment gateway on your storefront.

Switch to live keys (pk_live_ / sk_live_) and uncheck Test Mode for real transactions.

Common Questions

Log in to your Stripe Dashboard at dashboard.stripe.com, go to Developers → API keys. You will find your Publishable Key and Secret Key there. Use test keys (pk_test_ / sk_test_) while testing, and live keys (pk_live_ / sk_live_) for production.
